Posted in Red Carpet with tags actresses, Ballet, Dior, Natalie Portman, NYC, red carpet on September 22, 2013 by The Style CacheWORE: Dior Couture
WHEN: NYC Ballet Gala
Comment: Natalie always looks elegant and as the face of Dior she can have her pick of outfits. This one is interesting due to the texture and colours that make up this dress. The colour blocking helps elongate her petite body and show cases her small frame. The dress is simple and not fussy, however it is a dress that I did not expect Natalie to wear or Dior to create.

Posted in Red Carpet, Style Crush with tags Kristen Stewart, monochrome, red carpet, trends, Twilight, W magazine on November 18, 2012 by The Style CacheHonestly, I’m not the biggest fan of her films but I what I do admire is that she has finally climbed out of her red carpet “micro mini” rut.
Kristen has figured out what colours, shapes and lengths work to accentuate the best parts of her body and this has enabled her to try out daring pieces I never thought she would wear.
Now she looks more comfortable and confident in a mix of designer pieces and her personality shines through. Here are some of her key looks and hopefully the days of the micro mini are over.
A splash of colour
Posted in Red Carpet with tags awards, celebrities, Chanel, dresses, Emmy awards 2012, fashion, Lanvin, red carpet, Zac Posen on September 26, 2012 by The Style CacheAt prestigious events celebrities tend to opt for something long, tasteful and usually black. So it was refreshing to see so much colour on the red carpet at the 2012 Emmy awards.
Clare Danes (and bump) looked radiant in a canary yellow Lanvin dress whilst Sofia Vergara’s hourglass figure filled a beautiful emerald fish tail Zuhair Murad dress.
Although all colours of the rainbow were seen on the red carpet, January Jones stood out in a dramatic black Zac Posen gown with sky high Louboutins – this was definitely one of my favourite looks.
